BLSD Bands

The Ecole Parkside School band program consists of three performing ensembles - Grade 7 Band, Grade 8 Band, and Grade 8 Jazz Band. The Grade 7 and Grade 8 Bands are regularly scheduled courses, and the Grade 8 Jazz Band is an extracurricular group that meets outside the regular school timetable.

Throughout the school year we perform at numerous concerts, festivals, and events. Highlights include the Winter and Spring Concerts at school, the Level One Festival at Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg, and the Beginning Jazz Festival at Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain in Winnipeg.
