W.C. Miller Collegiate

  Program Overview

The W.C. Miller Collegiate band program consists of four core ensembles - Junior Concert Band, Senior Concert Band, Junior Jazz Band, and Senior Jazz Band. The concert bands are regularly scheduled, full credit courses that are open to all students, and the jazz bands are ensembles that rehearse outside of the normal timetable and offer a half credit.

Throughout the school year we perform at numerous concerts, festivals, and events with these four groups. Band students are also involved in many community events, which in the past have included:  Gretna Community Remembrance Day Service, Night of Lights celebration, Town of Altona Awards Banquet, and the local Canada 150 Celebration, among others.
